About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior ERP Engineer with hands-on experience in ERPNext and the Frappe

Framework. You will design, customize, and maintain ERP solutions that streamline business operations

across finance, inventory, sales, HR, and manufacturing. You'll work closely with functional teams and

stakeholders to turn business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext modules and custom Frappe apps to meet business

requirements.

- Build and maintain Custom Scripts, Server Scripts, and Client Scripts to extend standard

functionality.

- Design and implement Workflows, Custom Reports (Script and Query Reports), and Print Formats.

- Create dynamic print templates and web pages using Jinja templating.

- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance on MariaDB/MySQL.

- Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate ERPNext with third-party systems such as payment

gateways, e-commerce platforms, logistics providers, and messaging services.

- Manage source code using Git, following branching strategies and code review practices.

- Deploy, configure, and maintain ERPNext instances on Linux servers using Bench, including updates,

backups, and migrations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.

- Write clear technical documentation for customizations and integrations.





- Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework.

- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

- Strong knowledge of Jinja templating.

- Positive knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL and writing complex SQL queries.

- Proven experience developing Custom Scripts, Server Scripts, and Client Scripts.

- Experience with REST API development and third-party integrations.

- Experience building Workflows, Reports, Print Formats, and DocType customizations.

- Working knowledge of Git version control.

- Understanding of Linux server management and deployment basics (Bench, Nginx, Supervisor,

Redis).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Functional understanding of business processes such as accounting, inventory, HR/payroll, or

manufacturing.

- Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).

- Familiarity with Frappe UI, Vue.js, or the Frappe Portal framework.

- Contributions to Frappe/ERPNext open-source projects.

- Experience upgrading ERPNext across major versions (e.g., v13 → v14 → v15).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
