1. Production Planning

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and delivery commitments.

2. Job Allocation

Assign work to welders, fitters, machinists, helpers and subcontractors based on skills and availability.

3. Material Planning

Prepare material requirements from drawings and BOM. Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely availability.

4. Drawing Review

Study fabrication and machining drawings, dimensions, tolerances and technical requirements before production.

5. Production Monitoring

Monitor job progress, identify delays and ensure work is completed according to the production plan.

6. Quality Control

Coordinate dimensional inspections, welding quality checks and final inspection before dispatch.

7. Manpower Management

Monitor attendance, productivity,



workload and utilization of available manpower.

8. Machine Utilization

Plan the use of lathe, milling, drilling, welding and fabrication equipment to minimize idle time.

9. Cost Control

Monitor material wastage, labour hours, rework and subcontracting expenses.

10. Delivery Management

Coordinate with stores, quality and dispatch to achieve committed delivery dates.

11. Daily Reporting

Prepare daily production, pending job, material shortage and manpower reports.

12. Continuous Improvement

Improve manufacturing methods, productivity, safety and production efficiency.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
