Job Summary

Steel Planet is looking for a responsible and organized Dispatch Executive to manage daily dispatch operations, customer coordination, material purchasing bills, and rate updates. The candidate should have valuable communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records of orders, billing, and material dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch Management
- Manage daily dispatch of iron, steel, TMT bars, cement, and other construction materials.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, transporters, and the warehouse team.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per customer orders.
- Track dispatch details, vehicle information, quantities, and delivery status.
- Customer Handling
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, product availability, rates, and delivery schedules.
- Handle customer queries related to dispatch and billing.
- Follow up with customers to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Purchase Bills & Documentation
- Check and maintain purchase bills received from suppliers.
- Verify material quantities, rates, and bill details.
- Maintain records of purchase invoices, sales bills, and dispatch documents.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding billing discrepancies.
- Rate Updates & Order Management
- Update daily rates of iron, steel, TMT bars, cement, and other building materials.




- Maintain updated price lists and communicate rate changes to the concerned team.
- Verify product rates before processing customer orders.
- Maintain proper records of orders, quantities, and applicable rates.
- Reporting & Record Maintenance
- Maintain daily dispatch reports and order records.
- Update customer and supplier details in Excel.
- Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of all dispatch-related data.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams for smooth daily operations.

Required Skills

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of iron, steel, TMT bars, cement, and building materials.
- Basic knowledge of purchase bills, sales bills, and dispatch documentation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good data-entry skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and transporters.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime or accounting software will be an added advantage.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: Freshers with relevant knowledge and experienced candidates can apply.
- Education: Minimum 12th pass; graduate candidates preferred.
- Preferred Candidate: Organized, responsible, punctual, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
