About the Role

SaarthiX is looking for enthusiastic and curious Cybersecurity Trainees who are interested in network security, system protection, and information security. This opportunity is designed for students and recent graduates who want to develop practical cybersecurity skills, understand common security threats, and learn how organizations protect their digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn cybersecurity fundamentals, security principles, and common cyber threats.
- Understand computer networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and firewalls.
- Work with Linux commands and basic system administration.
- Learn about vulnerability assessment and security testing in authorized lab environments.
- Explore security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and other relevant defensive security tools.
- Understand authentication, access control, encryption, and security best practices.
- Assist with identifying and documenting potential security vulnerabilities in authorized environments.
- Learn security monitoring, incident reporting, and basic incident response procedures.
- Follow ethical hacking principles and responsible disclosure practices.
- Complete practical cybersecurity assignments and guided lab exercises.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, or networking is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux or command-line tools is an advantage.
- Interest in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or information security.




- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn security tools and follow authorized testing procedures.
- Positive communication and documentation skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates currently pursuing the 3rd year or 4th year of B.Tech / B.E.
- Recent B.Tech / B.E. graduates with 0 years of professional experience.
- Preferred branches: Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Candidates interested in network security, system security, ethical hacking, or security operations are encouraged to apply.
- Prior cybersecurity certifications or professional experience are not mandatory.
- No prior full-time work experience is required.
