Reporting To: Engineering Manager / Senior Engineer

We are looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer to support our engineering, production, quality, and export operations for automobile components. The candidate will be responsible for technical documentation, product development support, inspection, quality coordination, process improvement, and communication with customers and suppliers.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of automobile components, engineering drawings, measuring instruments, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Technical Support

- Study and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Assist in the development and improvement of automobile components and related processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, specifications, BOMs, and product records.
- Support production teams in resolving technical and process-related issues.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, purchase, and sales/export teams.

Quality & Inspection

- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, etc.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.




- Ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable quality requirements.

Export & Customer Support

- Review customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical documents required for export shipments.
- Coordinate with customers regarding product specifications, quality issues, samples, and approvals.
- Support preparation of inspection reports, PPAP documents, certificates, and other customer-specific documentation where required.
- Coordinate with logistics and commercial teams to ensure technical requirements are fulfilled before shipment.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for reducing rejection, wastage, and production costs.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and quality-control measures.
- Monitor recurring production and quality problems and support corrective actions.
- Maintain engineering and quality records for traceability.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile components, engineering manufacturing, quality, production, or a related industry.
- Positive understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes such as machining, forging, casting, sheet metal, fabrication, or assembly.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection procedures.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
