About the Role

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, organised, and proactive Order & Quality Control Assistant to join our fashion team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing order details, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and ensuring that every garment meets the required quality standards before dispatch.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, robust follow-up abilities, and a genuine interest in fashion and garment production. The candidate must be comfortable handling multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and smooth coordination across the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management & Tracking

- Maintain and update order records, order sheets, production trackers, and delivery schedules.
- Track orders from confirmation through production, quality inspection, packing, and final dispatch.
- Verify order details, including styles, sizes, colours, quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure all order-related information is accurately documented and easily accessible.
- Follow up on pending orders and proactively highlight delays or discrepancies.

2. Quality Control

- Inspect garments and finished products to ensure they meet the brand's quality standards.
- Check measurements, stitching, finishing, fabric quality, colour consistency, labels, trims, and overall presentation.
- Identify defects, incorrect specifications, missing items, and production discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the production team, tailors, vendors, and quality personnel to resolve issues promptly.




- Ensure corrections and alterations are completed before final approval and dispatch.

3. Team & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with designers, production teams, sampling teams, vendors, tailors, and dispatch personnel.
- Communicate order specifications and quality requirements clearly.
- Follow up regularly to ensure production milestones and delivery commitments are met.
- Escalate quality concerns, stock discrepancies, and potential delays to the relevant team members.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of orders, inspections, alterations, rejections, returns, and dispatches.
- Prepare daily or weekly status reports on order progress and quality issues.
- Maintain organised digital and physical files for easy reference.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools to update trackers and generate reports.

5. Packing & Dispatch Coordination

- Verify that the correct products, sizes, colours, and quantities are packed for each order.
- Check product tags, labels, packaging, and order documentation before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies, exchanges, and quality-related customer concerns when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.




- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and email.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to identifying errors and solving problems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and external vendors.
- Prior experience in fashion, apparel, garment production, merchandising, order processing, or quality control will be preferred.

Performance will be evaluated on:

- Accuracy of order entry and documentation.
- Timely order tracking and completion of follow-ups.
- Effectiveness in identifying and reducing quality errors.
- Adherence to delivery timelines.
- Accuracy of packing and dispatch.
- Organisation of records and reporting.
- Responsiveness in resolving production and quality issues.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
