"Job Purpose: To operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure reliable performance and compliance with environmental conditions required for pharmaceutical manufacturing areas. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and monitor HVAC systems, air handling units (AHUs), exhaust systems, ventilation equipment, and associated utilities. 2. Monitor temperature, relative humidity, room pressure differentials, airflow, and other parameters according to approved limits. 3. Record operational readings in logbooks and prescribed monitoring formats at defined intervals. 4. Check filters, motors, belts, dampers, cooling coils, and other components for abnormal conditions. 5. Support routine preventive maintenance, filter replacement, and breakdown maintenance activities. 6. Respond promptly to HVAC alarms, parameter excursions, and equipment breakdowns; inform the engineering supervisor and concerned departments. 7. Coordinate with QA and Production during HVAC-related deviations, maintenance activities,



and area recovery, where applicable. 8. Support qualification, requalification, calibration, and performance verification activities as assigned. 9. Ensure maintenance work follows approved procedures, work permits, lockout/tagout requirements, and safety practices. 10. Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and housekeeping in HVAC rooms and plant areas. Qualifications and Skills: ITI or Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; experience in HVAC operation and maintenance preferred; understanding of AHUs, filters, environmental monitoring, and GMP requirements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): HVAC availability, compliance with environmental limits, preventive maintenance completion, response time to breakdowns, documentation accuracy, and safety compliance."
