Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or Electronics) (MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is an added advantage)

Typically 8 to 15 years of core technical procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience in electrical manufacturing, construction, or EPC industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Sourcing & Planning:
- Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies for electrical items (transformers, switchgears, cables, panels, motors, VFDs, instrumentation, etc.).
- Forecast material requirements based on project execution schedules and production plans.
- Tendering & Commercial Negotiations:
- Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and Commercial Bid Evaluations (CBE), and lead high-value negotiations with vendors.
- Finalize Purchase Orders (POs), rate contracts, and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) ensuring optimal cost savings and quality compliance.
- Vendor Management & Development:
- Identify, audit, and onboard reliable domestic and international suppliers.




- Track vendor performance scorecards (on-time delivery, quality standards, and pricing) and manage alternative/dual-sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Cross-Functional & Quality Coordination:
- Coordinate closely with project engineering, site execution, and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) teams to verify material technical specifications and resolve non-conformances.
- Monitor post-order supply chains, expediting deliveries to prevent project delays or line stoppages.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Drive value engineering initiatives, alternate vendor substitution, and total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
