Job Summary

We are looking for a practical and site-oriented Civil Supervisor / Junior Civil Engineer to support civil construction activities for the NTPC NETRA Green Hydrogen Project. The candidate will supervise day-to-day civil works, coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines, check work against approved drawings and specifications, maintain site records, and help ensure safe, quality, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily civil construction activities, including excavation, backfilling, soil compaction, PCC/RCC works, reinforcement, shuttering, grouting, paving, foundations, trenches, and drainage/sewer works, as applicable.

· Read and interpret approved civil drawings, foundation drawings, layouts, sections, and relevant construction details.

· Check site dimensions, levels, line and alignment, reinforcement placement, shuttering, embedded items, and anchor-bolt locations before concrete pouring.

· Coordinate inspection requests and obtain required approvals from QA/QC, the client, consultant, and site engineer before covering or concreting work.

· Monitor concrete pouring, cube sampling, curing, backfilling, compaction, and other required quality checks in accordance with approved procedures.

· Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, piping, and other teams to resolve civil interface issues and avoid rework.

· Supervise subcontractors, labour deployment, tools, and equipment; monitor daily progress against the work plan.

· Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, site photographs, inspection requests, checklists, pour cards, measurement records, and other prescribed NTPC/KPI formats.

· Assist with quantity measurements,



running account bill verification, material reconciliation, and daily consumption records, as assigned.

· Track receipt and usage of cement, reinforcement steel, aggregates, sand, shuttering materials, and other civil construction materials.

· Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and report shortages, damages, drawing discrepancies, and site constraints promptly.

· Follow site safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, toolbox talks, barricading, housekeeping, and safe excavation practices.

· Coordinate with the surveyor and QA/QC team for setting out, levels, testing, and inspection activities.

· Support snag rectification, punch-point closure, as-built measurements, and civil work handover.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

· Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.

· Approximately 3–4 years of relevant civil site execution experience preferred.

· Experience in a greenfield industrial, infrastructure, EPC, process plant, power plant, or similar construction project is preferred.

· Working knowledge of excavation, foundations, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, backfilling, compaction, and site measurement.

· Ability to read and understand civil drawings and construction details.





· Basic knowledge of quality inspections, concrete testing, material records, and site safety.

· Positive coordination, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

· Industrial foundations, equipment foundations, RCC structures, trenches, paving, and drainage works.

· Basic surveying and level-checking coordination.

· Concrete cube testing, slump testing, reinforcement checks, and inspection documentation.

· Daily progress reporting, manpower tracking, quantity measurements, and material reconciliation.

· Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word; AutoCAD drawing review is an advantage.

Candidate Preferences

· Candidates with hands-on experience at a greenfield construction site are preferred.

· Candidates able to join immediately or within a short notice period will be given preference.

· Must be willing to work full-time at the NTPC NETRA site in Greater Noida.

· Should be able to supervise labour and subcontractors and manage routine civil activities with limited supervision.

· Must be comfortable working in a client-driven environment with strict quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
