Tasks:

Come up with Creative Succesful Thumbnail concepts
Use A.i, Illustration, Graphic design as a combination to create Thumbnails.

Salary: ₹25,000–₹39,000/month

We’re looking for a highly creative Visual Designer & Asset Creator to work across multiple growing YouTube channels covering Anime, Comics, Finance, and other niches.

This is not just a thumbnail design position.

You’ll help develop the entire visual side of our videos — from researching and collecting assets for scripts, to generating custom visuals with AI, designing/editing those assets, and creating high-performing YouTube thumbnails.

What You’ll Be Doing1. Script Asset Collection & Visual Research

You’ll receive scripts and help turn them into visuals.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reading scripts and understanding what visuals are needed
- Researching and collecting relevant images, panels, screenshots, references, charts, graphics, and other visual assets
- Finding strong visual references for specific scenes or concepts
- Organizing assets so editors can quickly understand what should appear and where
- Working across different niches, especially:
- Anime
- Comics / Marvel / DC
- Finance
- Other future YouTube channels

For Comics content specifically, you should be comfortable finding relevant comic panels, characters, issues, scenes, and visual references.

2. AI Image Generation & Visual Creation

Sometimes the exact visual we need won't already exist.

You'll use AI + Photoshop + illustration/design skills to create it.

This can include:

- Generating custom images from scratch
- Creating specific character poses, expressions, environments, or situations
- Modifying existing visual concepts
- Combining multiple assets into one polished image
- Fixing AI-generated images and inconsistencies
- Matching an established art direction/style
- Turning rough ideas into production-ready assets for editors

We care less about how the visual was created and more about whether the final result looks great and communicates the idea.

3. YouTube Thumbnail Design

You'll develop creative, high-converting thumbnail concepts rather than simply making a thumbnail look attractive.

You'll:

- Come up with multiple thumbnail concepts for video ideas
- Combine AI, illustration, compositing, and graphic design

- Translate titles and ideas into visually irresistible concepts
- Create thumbnails that communicate their idea/emotion in less than one second
- Make designs stand out against competing videos
- Create and iterate on multiple variations
- Work with the team on concepts, revisions, and A/B tests
- Improve designs based on CTR, impressions, and overall performance

The goal is simple:

Create thumbnails people want to click.

What We're Looking For1. Elite Visual Taste — Non-Negotiable

You should be able to quickly recognize:

- What looks generic vs. compelling
- What blends into the YouTube homepage vs. what stands out
- What feels amateur vs. professionally designed
- When an image needs more contrast, clarity, emotion, or focus
- When an AI-generated asset looks obviously AI-generated and needs fixing

You should care deeply about visual quality.

2. Strong Research & Asset-Finding Ability

Being able to find the right visual is just as important as being able to design one.

You should be good at:

- Visual research
- Finding relevant assets quickly
- Understanding a script's context
- Finding comic/anime references
- Identifying what needs to be generated instead of sourced
- Keeping assets organized for editors

You shouldn't need someone to tell you exactly what image to find for every sentence.

3. AI + Graphic Design Skills

You should be comfortable combining traditional design skills with modern AI tools.

Ideally, you understand:

- AI image generation
- Prompting and iteration
- Photoshop or equivalent software
- Image compositing
- Lighting
- Color grading
- Effects
- Image cleanup/manipulation
- Composition and visual hierarchy
- Typography — bonus, but not required

AI is a tool, not a replacement for visual taste.

4. Anime + Comics Understanding

A strong understanding of Anime and/or Comics is highly valuable.

You should understand things like:

- Characters and their recognizable visual traits
- Expressions and exaggeration
- Action and power imagery
- Character relationships
- Iconic scenes and imagery
- Anime/manga/comic visual language
- What fans immediately recognize

Knowledge of Marvel and DC Comics is a major bonus.

5. YouTube-Native Thinking & Click Psychology

You should understand that YouTube design is different from ordinary graphic design.

You need to understand:

- Curiosity gaps
- Emotional triggers
- Shock
- Hype
- Fear
- Dominance
- Mystery
- Contrast
- Composition
- Focal points
- Visual storytelling

A technically beautiful thumbnail that nobody clicks is still a failed thumbnail.

6. Speed + Iteration

You should be able to:

- Produce multiple ideas quickly
- Take feedback without becoming attached to one design
- Iterate rapidly
- Test different approaches
- Improve based on results rather than ego
- Increase both quality and output over time

Growth is important.

We want someone who becomes significantly better and faster after 3–6 months of working with us.

How Success Will Be Measured

Your work will primarily be evaluated through:

- Click-Through Rate (CTR)
- Thumbnail performance vs. channel average
- Ability to consistently develop strong concepts
- Quality of generated/designed assets
- Speed and reliability of asset collection
- Ability to create useful visuals from scripts
- Ability to consistently produce winning variations
- Alignment between the thumbnail promise and the actual video

Mandatory Test Task

Shortlisted applicants will receive a paid/unpaid test task depending on the scope of the assignment.

You may be given:

- A video title or concept
- Part of a script
- Visual references

You may be asked to:

- Create 2–3 thumbnail concepts/variations
- Find and organize assets for part of a script
- Generate or design custom assets where necessary

We will evaluate:

- Concept strength
- Clickability
- Visual taste
- Research ability
- AI generation/design ability
- Execution
- Attention to detail
- Speed

Tools

Experience with the following is valuable:

- Adobe Photoshop or equivalent
- AI image-generation tools
- Image editing/manipulation tools
- Illustration/design software
- Organized asset-management workflows

You do not need to be the world's best illustrator.

We're looking for someone who knows how to combine research + existing assets + AI generation + Photoshop/design to create exactly what a video needs.

Salary

₹20,000–₹39,000 per month

Compensation within the range will depend on your skill level, speed, visual taste, and ability to handle both asset creation and thumbnail design.

Test Task (Mandatory)

You will be given:

- A video title / idea

You must:

- Create 2–3 thumbnail variations

We are evaluating:

- Concept strength
- Clickability
- Execution
