Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Content Moderator with strong cricket knowledge to monitor and review cricket-related content on our digital platform. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining content quality, identifying inappropriate or misleading information, and ensuring that user-generated content follows company guidelines.

The ideal candidate must actively follow cricket, understand its rules and terminology, and be familiar with major tournaments, teams, players, and ongoing cricket events.

Key Responsibilities

- Review cricket-related comments, posts, images, videos, profiles, and other user-generated content.
- Monitor discussions related to live matches, players, teams, tournaments, and cricket news.
- Identify and flag abusive language, spam, harassment, misleading information, and inappropriate content.
- Ensure that cricket-related content complies with company policies and community guidelines.
- Identify suspicious or misleading claims involving match results, player statistics, scores, and cricket news.
- Monitor user discussions during live matches and take timely action on policy violations.
- Escalate sensitive, complex, or unclear cases to the appropriate team.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions and recurring issues.
- Coordinate with the cricket content and operations teams to maintain content quality.
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining high moderation accuracy.
- Follow updated moderation policies and protect confidential user information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of cricket is mandatory.
- Good understanding of cricket rules, formats, scoring systems, and terminology.
- Familiarity with international cricket, IPL, ICC tournaments, and major domestic T20 leagues.
- Knowledge of cricket teams, players, match formats, and current cricket events.




- Good written communication and comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to identify inappropriate, misleading, or policy-violating content.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with online platforms.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during live matches.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Graduate in any discipline is preferred.
- Freshers with strong cricket knowledge can apply.
- Previous experience in content moderation, sports content, social media operations, or customer support is an advantage.
- Candidates who regularly follow cricket matches and news will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online cricket communities.
- Ability to verify cricket-related information using reliable sources.
- Experience with content moderation dashboards or AI-assisted review tools is an advantage.

Work Environment

- Full-time position in a cricket-focused digital content environment.
- Training on company policies and moderation tools will be provided as required.
- Rotational shifts may apply, including live-match coverage.

Important Requirement: Candidates must have a genuine interest in cricket and a good understanding of the game. Cricket knowledge is essential for this role.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
