Position: CMM Operator

Department: Quality / Inspection

Experience: 2–3 Years

Salary Range: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month

Machine Expertise: Mitutoyo CMM Machine

Job Location: As per company requirement

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CMM Operator with strong expertise in operating Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precision measurement, dimensional inspection, and quality assurance of automotive components.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and program Mitutoyo CMM machines for dimensional inspection of automotive components.

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspection as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, and geometric tolerances.

Prepare and analyze CMM inspection reports and measurement data.

Verify component dimensions, profiles, positions, and tolerances using appropriate measurement techniques.

Identify dimensional deviations and coordinate with the Quality and Production teams for corrective action.

Maintain CMM machine accuracy, cleanliness,



and proper handling of fixtures and probes.

Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Support calibration activities and maintain traceability of measuring equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.

2–3 years of hands-on experience in CMM operation and dimensional inspection.

Expertise in Mitutoyo CMM machines is mandatory.

Knowledge of CMM programming, probe selection, alignment, and measurement routines.

Strong understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerance analysis.

Experience in automotive or precision manufacturing is preferred.

Valuable analytical skills, attention to detail, and report preparation skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and technical expertise.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
