Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing to ensure product quality, maintain inspection standards, and minimize rejection and rework.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of sheet metal components.
- Inspect components manufactured through laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and fabrication processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and rejection reports.
- Handle customer complaints, internal rejections, and supplier quality issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap to improve product quality.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Purchase departments to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and company procedures.
- Support 5S, Kaizen,



and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience with measuring and inspection instruments.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, RCA, 5 Why Analysis, and CAPA.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal components, fabrication, or automotive/engineering manufacturing.
- Experience in dimensional inspection and quality documentation will be preferred.

A detail-oriented and proactive candidate who can maintain quality standards, identify defects, reduce rejection, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
