Position: Site Engineer – Civil (Telecom Railway Projects)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Civil to oversee and supervise civil construction activities related to railway telecom infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and ensuring project work is completed as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at railway telecom project sites.
- Execute civil works related to telecom infrastructure, including equipment foundations, cable trenches, ducting, RCC works, equipment shelters, and related structures.
- Coordinate with railway authorities, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor excavation, concreting, reinforcement, foundation work, and cable route preparation.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and work completion reports.




- Ensure compliance with railway safety procedures, site safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required for daily site activities.
- Assist in quantity estimation, measurement sheets, billing documentation, and contractor bills.
- Support inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover activities as required.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Experience in railway infrastructure or railway telecom projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of civil drawings, BOQs, measurements, and quality standards.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Strong site supervision, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Experience

3–10 years of relevant experience in civil site execution, preferably in railway infrastructure, railway telecom, or related construction projects.
