Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Liaisoning Officer with mandatory practical experience in TNEB-related processes and a preference for the solar/electrical industry. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with TNEB officials, electricity board offices, government authorities, and other relevant departments to obtain approvals and complete statutory formalities for solar and electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with TNEB / TANGEDCO officials and relevant electricity board offices for solar and electrical project approvals.
- Handle documentation and follow-up for rooftop solar installations, net metering, feasibility approvals, inspections, and commissioning, as applicable.
- Coordinate with electricity board officials for application submissions, technical clarifications, site inspections, and pending approval issues.
- Follow up on applications and ensure timely completion of project-related approvals and formalities.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, installation, sales, and project teams to collect technical documents and resolve approval-related issues.
- Conduct official visits to TNEB offices and relevant government departments in Chennai and other locations as required.
- Maintain records of applications, approvals, inspection reports, pending cases, and project documentation.
- Prepare daily and weekly liaisoning reports and update management on approval status.
- Ensure all liaisoning activities comply with applicable regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering preferred.




- 2–5 years of experience in liaisoning, preferably in the solar energy or electrical industry.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with TNEB / TANGEDCO is strongly preferred; candidates must be familiar with electricity board procedures.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar project approvals, net metering, electrical inspections, and commissioning documentation.
- Solid follow-up, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and reporting.
- Willingness to travel for official work within Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of TNEB-related applications and approvals.
- Number of solar/electrical project approvals obtained.
- Turnaround time for resolving pending applications.
- Accuracy and completeness of submitted documentation.
- Timely completion of inspections and commissioning formalities.
- Regular reporting and follow-up on outstanding cases.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with direct experience in TNEB / TANGEDCO liaisoning.
- Experience in solar rooftop installations, net metering, and electricity board approvals.
- Candidates from solar companies, electrical contractors, renewable energy firms, or power-sector organizations.
- Chennai-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
