DESCRIPTION

Position: Quality Control (QC) Chemist

Department: Quality Control

Qualification: B Sc (Chemistry)/M Sc (Analytical Chemistry)

Experience: 3 – 7 years in QC functions in API manufacturing or chemical manufacturing industry

Position Reports to: QC Manager

Job location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai

- Testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced instruments

such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and pH meters as per laid down procedure.

- OOS investigations, root cause analysis, and instrument calibration (HPLC, UV, pH) as per USFDA

and ICH guidelines.

- Sampling & Documentation: Manage sampling of materials with appropriate documentation.

- Support timely product releases, including batch records, certificates of analysis (COA), and

analytical worksheets protocols.

- Use of instruments like GC, HPLC for analysis of RM, in-process and finished positive (API) samples.

- Conducting complete analysis of RM, PM, FP, IP materials for wet analysis and chemical,

instrumental analysis as per laid down procedure.

- Maintaining strict adherence to GMP documentation practices.

- Assisting in preparation for internal and external audits, including the collection of required





documentation and review of laboratory data.

- Maintaining accurate records of all tests performed.

- Issuance and retrieval of controlled documents, maintaining accurate records and ensuring

document control compliance.

- Review of equipment/instrument qualification documents and ensuring compliance with validation

standards.

- Implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Monitor and review document change controls, deviations, incidents and ensuring effective

resolutions of quality issues.

- Stability studies and its documentation.

- Perform all other QC related functions assigned from time to time.

Skills Required:

Expertise in testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Hands on experience in Chromatography analytical instrument in compliance with regulatory

requirements.

Strong analytical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Ability for multi-tasking and to work independently

Good communication and coordination ability.

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
