Job Summary

ICA Edu Skills Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable courses based on their career goals and interests. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, managing admission enquiries, following up on leads and achieving monthly admission and revenue targets.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and convincing skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to work in a target-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities and admission procedures.
- Handle walk-in enquiries, inbound and outbound calls, and online leads.
- Explain course curriculum, eligibility criteria, fee structures and placement assistance.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, messages and other communication channels to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate lead databases and update daily follow-up reports.
- Achieve monthly admission, enrolment and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with academic, training and placement teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, seminars, education fairs and other student outreach activities as required.




- Maintain professional relationships with students and ensure timely resolution of their queries.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
- 0–1 year of experience in academic counselling, education sales, telecalling, admissions or B2C sales.
- Freshers with strong communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal communication, persuasion and counselling skills.
- Ability to work with admission targets, lead conversion and structured follow-up processes.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel, email and CRM software.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a student-oriented approach.
