Job Description – Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Port Land | Willingdon Island, Kochi

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and hardworking Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Port Land.

This is an all-hands-on-deck role. We need someone who is flexible, proactive, and willing to step in wherever help is needed. The role involves managing daily restaurant operations, supporting the team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Coordinate with staff and ensure everyone works together as a team.
- Handle sourcing, purchasing, stock management, and inventory.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised, and well maintained.
- Help manage customer service and ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable.
- Support the kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams whenever required.
- Monitor daily requirements and ensure everything is ready for smooth operations.
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and find practical solutions.
- Take initiative, identify what needs to be done, and step in without waiting to be told.




- Be open to learning current tasks and taking on responsibilities beyond the usual job role.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
