Job Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach English Language, Literature, Grammar, Reading and Writing skills for Classes 9 & 10.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and assessment materials.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments and maintain accurate student academic records.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations through structured revision and examination-oriented practice.
- Develop students' communication, vocabulary, comprehension, creative writing and critical-thinking skills.
- Use appropriate teaching methodologies, digital resources and classroom technology to make lessons interactive.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support and remedial guidance.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the academic team to improve teaching and student outcomes.
- Maintain professional standards and follow the school's academic policies and CBSE guidelines.





Eligibility & Requirements

- Postgraduate degree in English from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school and CBSE requirements.
- Relevant experience teaching CBSE Classes 9 & 10 is preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns and examination requirements.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and smart-class resources.
- Freshers with robust subject knowledge and teaching skills may also be considered.
