1. Role Purpose

To lead and manage the company’s end-to-end BIM training department from the Amritsar office, ensuring high-quality technical

training, trainer performance, curriculum development, trainee outcomes, and delivery standards aligned with applicable Singapore

project requirements and industry practices. The role combines department leadership with hands-on training and requires regular

travel to Singapore.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Training Department Leadership

 Manage the complete training function, including annual and batch-wise plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and delivery

priorities.

 Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), training workflows, attendance controls, assessment methods, and reporting

formats.

 Coordinate with management and Singapore-based teams to align training capacity with project and manpower requirements.

 Monitor training quality, trainee progress, completion rates, feedback, and post-training deployment outcomes.

B. End-to-End BIM Training Delivery

 Personally conduct technical training where required, including demonstrations, practical exercises, assignments, and

competency assessments.

 Develop and maintain structured learning paths for relevant BIM disciplines, including Architecture, Structure, MEP, Civil, and

other services according to business needs.

 Ensure training covers BIM modelling, coordination, documentation, quality checks, drawing standards, model review, and

project-based workflows.

 Use realistic project exercises and evaluate trainees against defined competency criteria before recommending deployment.

C. Trainer Management and Development

 Recruit, onboard, allocate, coach, and evaluate trainers; define clear responsibilities, schedules, and performance expectations.

 Review lesson plans, training materials, assessment rubrics, and trainer delivery quality.

 Conduct trainer calibration sessions and arrange upskilling on relevant software, standards, and industry practices.

 Maintain a trainer allocation plan to ensure adequate coverage across batches and disciplines.

D. Singapore Standards and Project Alignment

 Align training content with applicable Singapore project specifications, client requirements, contractual deliverables, and

relevant codes or standards, as applicable to each project.

 Coordinate with Singapore project teams to understand required BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), information requirements, naming

conventions, modelling detail, coordination, and submission workflows.

 Keep training materials current with relevant BIM tools and project practices, including applicable Singapore requirements such

as the Singapore BIM Guide and relevant regulatory/client requirements where appropriate.

 Ensure that project-specific standards are verified with the relevant client or technical lead rather than applying a single

standard to every project.

E. Training Operations, Records and Reporting

 Maintain accurate trainee records, attendance, assessments, feedback, training completion, and certification records where

applicable.

 Prepare weekly and monthly reports on batch status, trainer utilisation, trainee performance, issues, and improvement actions.

 Manage training equipment, software access, learning resources, and document control in coordination with IT and management.

 Identify risks, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and training outcomes.

F. Stakeholder Coordination and Singapore Travel

 Work closely with recruitment, HR, sales, engineering, and project delivery teams to coordinate trainee intake, readiness, and

deployment.

 Travel to Singapore frequently when required for management meetings, client/project coordination, trainer support, audits, and

training delivery.

 Provide technical updates and recommendations to management on training needs, capability gaps, and service improvement

opportunities.

3. Required Qualifications and Experience

 Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.





 Substantial hands-on BIM experience, with a strong working knowledge of relevant authoring and coordination tools such as

Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and discipline-specific applications.

 Demonstrated experience in BIM training, technical mentoring, curriculum development, and competency assessment.

 Prior experience managing a training team, technical department, or multiple trainers and training batches.

 Working knowledge of Singapore project delivery expectations and BIM documentation practices; familiarity with Singapore BIM

guidance and client requirements is an advantage.

 Strong leadership, communication, planning, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

 Willingness and ability to travel to Singapore as required for business purposes.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 Training batch commencement and completion against the approved schedule.

 Trainee competency improvement and assessment pass rates.

 Training quality, trainee feedback, and stakeholder satisfaction.

 Trainer productivity, attendance, utilisation, and development.

 Accuracy and timeliness of training records and management reports.

 Readiness of trainees for project allocation and alignment with project requirements.

 Continuous improvement in curriculum, training processes, and operational efficiency.

5. Working Arrangements

The position is based in Amritsar, Punjab, India, with frequent travel to Singapore when required. Travel, entry permissions, and any

work activities in Singapore will be subject to applicable company policies and immigration/work authorisation requirements. The

6. Role Expectations

The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall effectiveness of the BIM training department, the performance and

development of trainers, the quality of training delivery, and the readiness of trainees to meet the company’s technical and project
