Job Description – Python Backend Developer
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Python Backend Developer with hands-on experience in developing REST APIs, building backend services, and working with cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.Implement asynchronous API endpoints and request handling using async/await.Use Pydantic for request validation, response schemas, and data modelling.Work with PostgreSQL databases, write SQL queries, and perform query optimisation.Deploy and support applications using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.Containerise applications using Docker and assist with deployment.Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Debug issues, maintain code quality, and collaborate with senior developers.

Required Technical Skills Python:
Robust understanding of core Python, OOP, exception handling, and data structures. Backend Development:



Hands-on experience with Fast API and REST API development. Validation: Working knowledge of Pydantic. Database: SQL and PostgreSQL, including joins, indexes, and query optimisation. AWS: Practical exposure to at least 2–3 services, preferably EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, or RDS. DevOps: Basic experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK is preferred.Version Control: Git and GitHub/GitLab.
Preferred Qualifications Experience deploying Python applications in a cloud environment.Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production debugging.Understanding of authentication, authorisation, and secure API development.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Ideal Candidate: A developer who has built real backend APIs, worked with relational databases, and contributed to cloud deployment or application maintenance projects.

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹37,500.00 per month
