Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Vendor Management Executive to manage supplier relationships, purchase activities, material procurement, price negotiations, and timely delivery of materials required for conveyor manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new vendors and suppliers for conveyor manufacturing materials and components.

* Source materials such as MS, SS304, aluminium profiles, conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, gearboxes, electrical components, and fabrication materials.

* Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and compare prices, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.

* Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

* Prepare and process purchase orders based on approved requirements.

* Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials as per production and project schedules.

* Coordinate with the production, design, stores, and accounts departments regarding material requirements and purchase status.

* Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and material documents in coordination with the accounts and stores teams.

* Maintain vendor databases, quotation records, purchase orders, and supplier payment details.

* Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, delivery, and service.

* Develop alternative suppliers to avoid material shortages and production delays.

* Handle material shortages, delivery delays,



quality issues, and supplier complaints.

* Maintain proper purchase records and update purchase transactions in Tally or Excel.

* Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications and project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Any degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

* Experience in purchase, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in a manufacturing company. * Knowledge of industrial materials, mechanical components, and electrical components is an advantage. * Good communication and negotiation skills.

* Knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and documentation.

* Experience with Tally or other ERP software is preferred.

* Valuable follow-up, coordination, and time-management skills.

* Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Experience in conveyor manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or industrial procurement.

* Knowledge of material specifications, vendor quotations, and purchase order preparation.

* Ability to identify cost-effective suppliers without compromising quality.

* Responsible, organized, and capable of working independently.

Working Hours Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday: Holiday

Salary As per experience, skills, and industry standards.
