E-commerce Finance & AR Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for an E-commerce Finance & AR Lead to own the finance and accounting operations for E-commerce and Quick Commerce channels. The role will lead reconciliation, AR, channel profitability, financial controls, and reporting, while partnering closely with the GTM/Business teams to drive financial insights and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end E-commerce & Quick Commerce finance operations from an accounting and controllership perspective.
- Own sales, payment and settlement reconciliation, including orders, returns, discounts, commissions, deductions and claims.
- Lead Accounts Receivable (AR), including collections, ageing, outstanding reconciliation and dispute resolution.
- Drive channel profitability analysis covering revenue, commissions, discounts, promotional spends, logistics and other channel costs.
- Ensure accurate accounting and timely closure of E-commerce/Quick Commerce transactions.
- Prepare and review channel-wise MIS, AR ageing, reconciliation reports and profitability dashboards.
- Work closely with GTM/Business, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Tax and FP&A; teams to resolve issues and provide financial insights.
- Identify reconciliation gaps, strengthen financial controls/SOPs,



and drive process improvements and automation.
- Manage platform-related claims, deductions, settlement differences and open items to ensure timely closure.
- Lead and mentor the E-commerce Finance/AR team, ensuring clear ownership, timely deliverables and quality of output.

Candidate Profile

- 5–6 years of relevant experience in E-commerce Finance, Channel Finance, AR, Reconciliation or Controllership.
- Strong understanding of E-commerce and Quick Commerce business models and accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience in E-commerce reconciliation and payment/settlement reconciliation.
- Strong experience in AR management, collections and channel profitability analysis.
- Prior experience in leading/managing a finance team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work closely with GTM/Business teams and translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Robust Excel skills; exposure to ERP/accounting systems and reconciliation tools preferred.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
