B Patel Infrastructure is looking for a Purchase Head with 4 to 6 years of experience who can manage purchasing for our projects and visit our sites regularly.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Handle purchase of materials, equipment and services for projects
Plan and execute procurement from BOQs, drawings and schedules
Visit project sites regularly and follow up on supply
Get quotations, compare rates, and negotiate rates and credit terms
Prepare purchase orders and work orders
Keep sites supplied on time, with materials as per quality requirements
Coordinate with Projects, Stores, QA/QC, Accounts and Plant & Machinery
Maintain valuable relations with suppliers and vendors
Keep purchase cost within the project budget

Qualification & Skills:
B.E. / B.Tech (Civil or Mechanical) preferred,



or any graduate with relevant experience
Must have 4 to 6 years of purchase experience in infrastructure or construction
Good knowledge of construction materials and market rates
Good negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of GST, billing and purchase documents
Working knowledge of ERP or purchase software and MS Excel
Team leading experience preferred
Ready to travel to project sites regularly
Able to speak English, Hindi and Gujarati
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (with regular site visits)
