About the Role

Plutus IAS is looking for a motivated and student-oriented Academic Associate to join its UPSC Mentorship Program. The candidate will be responsible for guiding UPSC aspirants, monitoring their preparation progress, helping them maintain structured study plans, and providing regular academic support throughout their preparation journey.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a strong understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination, and the ability to motivate students to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide and mentor UPSC aspirants throughout their preparation journey.
- Monitor students' daily and weekly study plans, progress, and preparation strategies.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with students to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Help students plan their preparation according to the UPSC syllabus and examination pattern.
- Identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas requiring improvement.
- Provide guidance on time management, revision strategies, and study schedules.
- Coordinate with faculty members and the academic team to support students effectively.
- Address students' academic queries and direct them to appropriate resources or faculty members when required.
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and mentorship documentation.
- Motivate students to maintain discipline, consistency,



and focus during their preparation.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Valuable understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination and its preparation process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate, guide, and manage multiple students.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office and Google Workspace.
- A proactive, responsible, and student-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in academic mentoring, student counselling, or the UPSC coaching industry.
- Candidates who have prepared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination will be preferred.
- Experience in student management, academic coordination, or competitive examination guidance will be an added advantage.
