About the Opportunity

We are looking for a curious, creative, and motivated individual to join our founding team in a marketing role focused on quantum technology.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is interested in quantum computing, quantum physics, quantum information, or emerging quantum technologies and wants to communicate these concepts through articles, social media, and other marketing initiatives.

You do not need years of professional experience or a specific degree to apply. What matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, communication skills, consistency, and ability to turn ideas into meaningful content.

You will work closely with the founding team to build an online presence, publish educational content, grow an audience, and communicate developments in the quantum technology space.

Key Responsibilities1. Quantum Technology Content Writing

- Research and write articles about quantum computing, quantum physics, quantum information, and emerging quantum technologies.
- Explain complex quantum concepts in simple, engaging language.
- Write educational blogs, explainers, industry insights, and technology updates.
- Research quantum technology developments, companies, applications, and industry trends.
- Verify information using credible sources and maintain technical accuracy.
- Develop content ideas and contribute to the editorial calendar.

2. Social Media Management

- Manage social media accounts and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
- Create and publish posts about quantum technology, research, industry developments, and educational topics.
- Repurpose articles into short posts, carousels, and other platform-appropriate formats.
- Engage with relevant communities, researchers, professionals, and technology enthusiasts.
- Track engagement, audience growth, and content performance.

Digital Marketing

- Support SEO through keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content planning.
- Research relevant topics and identify opportunities to grow organic traffic.
- Assist with email marketing, newsletters, and audience development.
- Support brand communications, outreach, and digital campaigns.
- Explore relevant communities, forums, and platforms to distribute content and build awareness.

4. Research & Industry Awareness

- Follow developments in quantum computing, quantum hardware, quantum algorithms, quantum cryptography, and related fields.
- Identify emerging trends, research papers, and noteworthy industry announcements.
- Turn relevant research into accessible content for different audiences.
- Maintain a reliable list of sources and references for published material.

5. Founding Team Collaboration

- Contribute ideas to the overall content and marketing strategy.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
- Experiment with new content formats and marketing approaches.
- Collaborate with other founding team members to achieve shared goals.
- Help establish repeatable marketing processes as the organisation grows.

Compensation & Equity

This is an equity-based founding team opportunity with no salary at present.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to discuss equity participation based on their responsibilities, contribution, expected time commitment, and long-term involvement.

Any equity arrangement will be subject to mutual agreement, applicable legal requirements, agreed vesting terms, and formal documentation.

There is no guarantee of future salary, funding, or financial returns. Candidates should apply only if they are comfortable contributing without fixed monetary compensation at this stage.
