E-Commerce Accounting Intern

Kaycee Corporation is looking for a motivated E-Commerce Accounting Intern with knowledge of AI tools and automation to join our E-commerce team. This role offers practical experience in marketplace accounting, payment reconciliation, financial reporting, and improving routine accounting processes through technology.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technology-oriented intern to support day-to-day e-commerce accounting and help make financial workflows more accurate and efficient.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting, good Excel skills, and working knowledge of AI tools and automation. You will assist with marketplace sales records, settlements, expenses, and reconciliation while helping identify opportunities to simplify repetitive tasks.

This is an on-site internship, suitable for B.Com/M.Com students, recent graduates, and freshers interested in accounting, e-commerce, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with accounting and bookkeeping for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, and other sales channels.
- Record and verify sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, returns, and refunds.
- Assist in reconciling marketplace settlements with sales reports, platform deductions, and bank receipts.
- Track marketplace commissions, shipping charges, advertising expenses.
- Identify payment differences, missing settlements, and transaction discrepancies for review.
- Assist in preparing invoices, vouchers, and supporting accounting documents.




- Organize financial records and support monthly reporting and closing activities.
- Use Excel or Google Sheets to clean, organize, compare, and summarize transaction data.
- Use AI tools to assist with formulas, report preparation, data checks, and process documentation, and verify outputs before use.
- Help create and maintain easy automations for repetitive tasks such as data consolidation, report preparation, and reconciliation checks.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and E-commerce teams to collect documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and use company financial data only in approved tools.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Requirements

- Completed B.Com, M.Com, or a related Accounting/Finance course.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and lookup functions.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar applications, including writing clear prompts and checking results.
- Basic understanding of workflow automation, with the ability to explain or demonstrate a simple practical use case.
- Interest in learning marketplace accounting, settlement reports,



and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Positive communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work on-site.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Tally, ERPNext, or other accounting/ERP software.
- Basic awareness of GST, TCS, TDS, and marketplace deductions.
- Experience working with sales reports, settlement files, or spreadsheet dashboards.
