We are looking for a compassionate and qualified Psychiatric Social Worker to assess patients’ psychological, emotional, and social needs and provide appropriate counseling and support.
Qualifications
- MSW (Medical & Psychiatry) degree required.
- Good communication and counseling skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patients’ psychological and behavioral concerns.
- Understand and evaluate patients’ thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behavior.
- Collect patient histories and conduct Mental Status Examinations (MSE).
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions based on patients’ needs.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Conduct educational lectures, motivational sessions, and skill development programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

- Fluency in Tamil and English; knowledge of other regional languages is an advantage.
