Job Title: Tool Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Chennai
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop tools, jigs, fixtures, and tooling components.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes for tools.
- Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and support tool maintenance.
- Inspect tools and ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Recommend design improvements to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in tool design or tooling engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Knowledge of machining, tool materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
