Job Overview

MOONSEZ AND MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS LLP is looking for an experienced and qualified G Card Holder to join its Customs & Port Operations team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in port/sea cargo customs clearance, import-export operations, customs documentation, and coordination with customs and port authorities.

The candidate will be responsible for independently managing customs clearance activities, overseeing operational processes, resolving clearance-related issues, and ensuring the smooth and timely movement of import and export cargo in compliance with applicable customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage day-to-day customs clearance and port-related operations for import and export shipments.

Prepare, verify, and process customs and import-export documentation.

Handle procedures related to Bill of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bill, Customs Examination, Assessment, Out of Charge (OOC), and Let Export Order (LEO).

Coordinate with Customs Officials, Port Authorities, CFS/ICD teams, Shipping Lines, Transporters, and Customs Brokers/CHAs.

Monitor cargo movement and clearance status to ensure timely completion of customs formalities.

Handle complex customs clearance issues and coordinate with relevant authorities for timely resolution.

Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate records of customs documentation, clearance status, and operational correspondence.

Supervise and coordinate customs clearance activities to ensure smooth operational workflow.

Support internal teams in resolving documentation discrepancies, delays, and other port-related challenges.





Ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders involved in cargo clearance.

Guide and support team members in customs procedures and operational requirements, wherever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid G Card is mandatory.

Proven experience in port/sea cargo customs clearance and import-export operations.

Robust knowledge of customs laws, clearance procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Hands-on experience with Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Customs Examination, Assessment, OOC, and LEO.

Working knowledge of ICEGATE, EDI, and other customs-related systems.

Good understanding of port, CFS/ICD, and cargo clearance processes.

Experience coordinating with customs authorities, port officials, shipping lines, and logistics partners.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to independently manage customs clearance operations and resolve operational challenges.

Excellent documentation, follow-up, and organizational skills.

Salary Offered

Around ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience, qualifications, and suitability.

Important Note

Candidates must possess a valid G Card and have relevant practical experience in customs clearance, port operations, and import-export documentation. Candidates with strong knowledge of sea cargo operations, customs regulations, and independent handling of complex clearance activities will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
