Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily paint shop activities, including surface preparation, pretreatment, painting, drying, and finishing.
- Monitor painting processes to ensure uniform coating, correct paint thickness, colour consistency, and defect-free finishing.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Manage and allocate manpower to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor paint consumption, material availability, and minimize wastage.
- Identify and resolve painting defects such as peeling, bubbling, uneven coating, and colour mismatch.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of paint booths, spray guns, compressors, and related equipment.
- Follow safety procedures for handling paints, solvents, chemicals, and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Maintain production reports, rejection records, and paint shop process documentation.

Qualification





Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience

4–7 years of experience in paint shop operations or painting supervision in a manufacturing industry. Immediate Joiners Preferable.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of industrial painting processes and surface preparation.
- Understanding of paint defects, coating quality, and inspection methods.
- Manpower handling and production planning skills.
- Problem-solving, team management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
