Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of textile machinery.
- Inspect and repair bearings, shafts, gears, belts, pulleys, and couplings.
- Handle machine dismantling, assembly, alignment, lubrication, and fitting work.
- Identify mechanical faults and minimize machine downtime.
- Assist in machine installation and replacement of worn-out parts.
- Maintain tools, maintenance records, and workplace housekeeping.
- Follow safety procedures and coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of bearings, lubrication, and machine alignment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend breakdowns when required.
Preferred Candidate: ITI Fitter with a positive attitude, positive troubleshooting skills, and an interest in textile machinery maintenance.
