1. Job Purpose

To ensure the secure and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the school campus.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, fans, and other electrical equipment.
2. Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs promptly.
3. Maintain electrical systems in classrooms, laboratories, offices, corridors, washrooms, and other campus facilities.
4. Attend to electrical complaints and maintenance requests from staff and management.
5. Ensure the proper functioning of electrical panels, circuit breakers, distribution boards, and related equipment.
6. Monitor the operation of generators, inverters, UPS systems, and other backup power equipment, where applicable.
7. Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, fans, and other electrical fittings.
8. Follow all electrical safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.
9. Maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment replacement.
10. Identify potential electrical hazards and report them immediately to the concerned authority.
11. Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service providers whenever required.

Ensure that electrical tools and equipment are maintained properly and used safely.
13. Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues to ensure the safety of students, staff, and campus facilities.
14. Carry out additional maintenance duties assigned by the management.

3. Qualifications and Experience

- ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant electrical maintenance experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Valid electrical licence or authorisation, wherever required by applicable regulations.

- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to identify and rectify electrical faults.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Time management and attention to detail.

5. General Responsibilities

The Electrician shall perform duties in accordance with the school's rules, safety policies, and management instructions. The employee must ensure that all electrical maintenance activities are carried out safely, with particular attention to the protection of students, staff, and campus property.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
