Job Description – Café Service Captain

The Port Land | Willingdon Island, Kochi

We are looking for a friendly, well-mannered, and enthusiastic Service Captain to join our team at The Port Land.

We want someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and making guests feel welcome and comfortable. A pleasant personality, a humble attitude, and good manners are extremely important to us.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and make them feel comfortable.
- Guide guests to their tables and assist them with the menu.
- Take orders accurately and ensure food and beverages are served on time.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly arranged, and ready for guests.
- Check on guests during their visit and attend to their needs politely.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns calmly and respectfully.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
- Support the team wherever required to ensure smooth café operations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and daily service requirements.
- Ensure every guest leaves with a pleasant experience.
