Job Purpose

To identify, evaluate, develop, and manage reliable suppliers; negotiate competitive commercial terms; reduce procurement costs; and ensure the availability of quality materials and services in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business and procurement objectives.

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, capacity, delivery, and reliability.

· Conduct market research and analyze supplier markets, pricing trends, and alternative sources.

· Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts, and service levels.

· Drive cost-reduction initiatives and track measurable savings without compromising quality or delivery.

· Build and ma intain long-term supplier relationships and develop alternate sources to reduce supply risk.

· Evaluate supplier performance using quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and compliance metrics.

· Coordinate with Purchase, Production/Operations, Quality, Stores, Finance, and other relevant teams.

· Review sourcing risks, supply continuity, and supplier capacity; prepare mitigation plans where needed.

· Maintain sourcing records, supplier databases, agreements, and management reports.

· Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies,



approval limits, and applicable requirements.

· Guide or support the purchasing team on supplier selection, negotiation, and procurement priorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.

· Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, or supply chain management.

· Strong negotiation, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and cost-management skills.

· Valuable communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

· Working knowledge of MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professional supplier relationships.
