Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician — 2–3 openings

Chhabra Hospital & Maternity Home invites applications from qualified obstetricians and gynecologists to join our team in Jalandhar, Punjab.

ABOUT US

Located at 22, Gujral Nagar, near the TV Centre, Jalandhar, the hospital provides obstetric and gynecological care and is home to Dr. Ranu Chhabra’s Babies World IVF Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide outpatient consultations and inpatient obstetric and gynecological care.
- Manage antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, including high-risk pregnancies within your clinical competence.
- Perform deliveries, caesarean sections and gynecological procedures appropriate to your training and clinical privileges.
- Counsel patients and coordinate referrals and fertility care where appropriate.
- Collaborate with nursing, anaesthesia, paediatrics and fertility teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, informed consent, confidentiality and safe clinical practice.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties according to a mutually agreed roster.

QUALIFICATIONS

- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a recognized institution.




- Valid medical registration permitting practice in Punjab.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication skills and a patient-centred approach.
- Relevant experience preferred. Please describe your independent procedural experience in your application.

LOCATION AND TERMS

On-site at Chhabra Hospital & Maternity Home, 22, Gujral Nagar, Jalandhar, Punjab. Compensation, engagement type, duty hours and joining date will be discussed individually based on qualifications, experience and mutual agreement.
