Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and professional Spa Therapist to join our wellness team in North Goa. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments, including massages, body therapies, and wellness services, while ensuring guest comfort, satisfaction, hygiene, and professional service standards.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of spa therapies, excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and a passion for guest wellness and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Spa Treatments and Guest Services

- Perform professional massage therapies, body treatments, and other spa services as per the property's service menu.
- Conduct guest consultations to understand preferences, comfort levels, and relevant treatment requirements.
- Recommend suitable treatments based on guest needs and available services.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and personalised approach to guest service.

2. Guest Experience and Service Standards

- Welcome guests warmly and explain available treatments and procedures.
- Maintain professional communication and respect guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Ensure a relaxing, clean, and comfortable environment in treatment rooms.
- Respond to guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns when required.




- Maintain high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

3. Hygiene and Safety

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation of treatment rooms, massage beds, equipment, and spa tools.
- Follow established hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure fresh linens, towels, and treatment supplies are available before each appointment.
- Handle spa products and equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Identify treatment contraindications and refer guests for medical advice when necessary.

4. Spa Operations and Room Preparation

- Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, including linens, oils, products, lighting, and ambience.
- Monitor spa supplies and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
- Ensure treatment rooms are reset promptly after each session.
- Follow appointment schedules and maintain punctuality.
- Support daily spa operations and coordinate with reception and other team members.

5. Product Knowledge and Upselling

- Maintain knowledge of spa treatments, wellness services, and products offered by the property.
- Explain treatment options and product benefits accurately.
- Recommend appropriate add-on services and retail products without pressuring guests.
- Support promotional activities and service initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Certification or diploma in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a hotel, resort, wellness centre,



or luxury spa.
- Knowledge of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, and other relevant spa treatments.
- Familiarity with spa hygiene, sanitation, and guest safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified grooming, a positive attitude, and a guest-focused approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates from Northeast India are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or premium wellness centres will have an added advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate professional grooming, a courteous attitude, and strong guest-handling skills.
- Candidates willing to relocate to North Goa are welcome to apply.
