- Operate and assist in operating CNC laser cutting machines.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and cutting layouts.
- Set and load sheet metal/materials as per production requirements.
- Perform basic machine setup, nozzle/lens cleaning, and parameter adjustments.
- Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, and surface finish.
- Conduct first-level inspection of laser-cut components using measuring instruments.
- Identify defects such as improper cutting, burrs, slag, and dimensional deviations.
- Maintain production records and machine-related documentation.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operation.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of CNC/laser cutting machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
