Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily electrical installation, maintenance, and site execution activities according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Lead and coordinate electricians, electrical technicians, helpers, and subcontractors to ensure effective site operations.
- Execute electrical works, including cable tray installation, conduit installation, cable pulling, cable termination, and wiring activities.
- Supervise the installation of lighting systems, power outlets, distribution boards, electrical panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate the installation of LV and, where applicable, MV electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, and distribution equipment.
- Monitor the installation of earthing and grounding systems, lightning protection systems, and electrical containment works.
- Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, tagging, glanding, termination, and identification according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, QA/QC inspectors,



safety officers, and other trades to resolve site issues and avoid work delays.
- Allocate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials based on daily work plans and project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and assist with insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and other electrical testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, applicable codes, project specifications, and safety procedures.
- Implement electrical safety measures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work procedures, and safe isolation practices, as applicable.
- Monitor work progress, maintain daily activity reports, and report site conditions and technical issues to the electrical engineer.
- Check material availability, control wastage, and ensure proper storage and handling of electrical materials.
- Coordinate inspection requests, testing activities, snag rectification, and final handover documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment at the site.
