Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network Software Developer with strong programming and networking expertise to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot networking software and infrastructure for a residential mobile proxy platform.

The platform uses Android devices as proxy exit nodes, allowing customers to connect through SOCKS5 and HTTP proxy protocols.

Candidates must have practical experience in one or more programming languages and technologies, such as Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, Next.js, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages and frameworks, and must have used these technologies for networking-related software development, proxy systems, VPNs, socket programming, network automation, or network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop networking-related applications, tools, and services using Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, Next.js, or other relevant technologies.
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based network communication.
- Develop, integrate, or maintain SOCKS5 proxies, HTTP proxies, and HTTP CONNECT tunneling.
- Work with VPN technologies, including OpenVPN, WireGuard, and other tunneling solutions.
- Implement socket programming and client-server communication.
- Build network automation scripts, monitoring tools, diagnostics, and troubleshooting utilities.
- Manage Linux-based networking infrastructure, including iptables, NAT, firewall rules, and routing.
- Configure and maintain proxy servers and VPS-based edge infrastructure.
- Diagnose network latency, connection failures, packet loss, and proxy performance issues.




- Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity between Android devices, proxy servers, and customer applications.
- Monitor network performance, reliability, and availability.
- Collaborate with the team to improve networking software, security, performance, and scalability.
- Test, debug, and maintain networking-related code and services.

Required Qualifications

- Practical programming experience in one or more languages or technologies, such as Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, Next.js, JavaScript, C, C++, or other relevant languages and frameworks.
- Experience using at least one programming language to develop, maintain, or troubleshoot networking-related software or projects.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, ports, routing, NAT, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of socket programming, network communication, and client-server architecture.
- Practical knowledge of SOCKS5, HTTP proxies, HTTP CONNECT, VPNs, and tunneling.
- Working knowledge of Linux networking and command-line troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with VPS servers, iptables, firewall configuration, and network routing.
- Ability to develop, debug, and maintain networking-related applications and services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing proxy servers, VPN tools, network utilities, or network automation scripts.




- Hands-on experience with residential proxies or mobile proxy networks.
- Experience with OpenVPN, WireGuard, or similar VPN technologies.
- Knowledge of gost or other proxy server tools.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux server administration, and network monitoring tools.
- Understanding of TLS, certificates, and PKI.
- Experience with Android-based proxy or networking applications.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL databases, REST APIs, WebSockets, or other relevant technologies.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have both programming skills and practical networking experience. Merely knowing a programming language or framework is not sufficient. Candidates should have used at least one relevant language or technology to develop, maintain, automate, or troubleshoot networking-related software, such as proxy servers, VPN tools, socket-based applications, network utilities, or network communication services.

Experience with TCP/IP, SOCKS5, HTTP proxies, VPNs, Linux networking, and network software development will be highly valued.

Knowledge of additional programming languages, frameworks, networking protocols, development tools, and related technologies, etc., is also welcome.
