Chef de Partie – Designer Cakes

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Chef de Partie – Designer Cakes to manage our designer cake section and create high-quality customized cakes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and decorate designer cakes, wedding cakes, and celebration cakes.
- Demonstrate expertise in fondant modelling and 2D/3D cake designing.
- Execute customized cake orders according to customer requirements.
- Maintain high standards of taste, quality, finishing, and presentation.
- Manage daily production, meet deadlines, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Minimize wastage and supervise junior team members.

Requirements

- Diploma or higher qualification in Bakery, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven expertise in fondant work, 2D/3D cake designing, and customized cake orders.
- Robust creativity, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Portfolio of previous cake designs preferred.
