- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB or equivalent cloud NoSQL database platforms; solid understanding of distributed NoSQL principles.
- Proven experience with partition key design, indexing strategies, and consistency level trade-offs.
- Experience with multi-region replication, failover strategies, and DR planning.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Azure CLI) and developing scripts or using SDKs for operational tasks.
- Solid troubleshooting skills, performance tuning experience, and familiarity with monitoring tools and telemetry analysis.
- Knowledge of security controls in Azure, including RBAC, VNET integration, private endpoints, and encryption.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
