Job Title: E-Waste Recycling Production Operator

Department: Production / Operations

Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

Job Summary

The E-Waste Recycling Production Operator is responsible for the protected and efficient operation of e-waste dismantling, segregation, and processing activities in compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out dismantling, segregation, and sorting of e-waste (computers, laptops, mobiles, printers, cables, etc.)
- Operate basic recycling equipment such as dismantling tables, cutters, shredders, balers, and related tools
- Ensure proper segregation of hazardous and non-hazardous fractions
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines
- Maintain daily production records, input–output logs, and material tracking
- Assist in loading and unloading of e-waste materials
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area
- Report machine issues, safety hazards, or abnormalities to the supervisor
- Support compliance with Central Pollution Control Board / SPCB guidelines
- Use and maintain PPE such as gloves, masks, safety shoes, goggles, etc.
- Assist during inspections and audits when required

Skills & Requirements





- Basic understanding of e-waste categories and recycling processes
- Ability to operate tools and small machinery
- Awareness of safety and environmental practices
- Physically fit to handle manual work
- Team-oriented and disciplined
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required)

Qualification

- ITI or relevant technical training is an added advantage
- Prior experience in e-waste / scrap / recycling / manufacturing is preferable

Experience

- 0–3 years (Freshers can be considered with proper training)
