JOB DESCRIPTION* *Position:* Engineer / Sr. Engineer - New Product Development (NPD) *Department:* NPD / Business Development *Experience:* 3 to 5Years *Qualification:* DME / BE / B.Tech - Mechanical *Location:* Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune *CTC:* Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- per month *Industry:* Automotive - Sheet Metal, Fabrication & Tube Components *Job Summary:* We are looking for a dynamic NPD Engineer with hands-on experience in automotive sheet metal stamping, welding, and tube bending processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing new product development from RFQ to SOP, including tool, fixture design, and APQP/PPAP documentation. *Key Responsibilities:* *1. Current Product Development:* - Study customer drawings / 3D data and perform feasibility study. - Prepare technical costing inputs for stamping, welding, and tube bending parts. - Coordinate for proto sample development and approval.



- Lead product development as per APQP timeline. *2. Tooling & Fixture Development:* - Knowledge of Sheet Metal Dies - Progressive, Tandem, Draw Tool design, development and tryout. - Knowledge of Welding Fixtures, Checking Fixtures / Gauges, Inspection Fixtures - Design, Development and Manufacturing follow-up. - Knowledge of Tube Bending - Tooling and fixture development. - Co-ordination with Tool Room, In-house & Outsource Tool Makers for timely development. - Participate in Tool Tryouts and Countermeasure for defects.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
