Job Overview

Sterling & Wilson Data Center Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Design Engineer – ELV to join its Data Center Design & Engineering team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ELV system design, engineering drawings, BOQ preparation, technical documentation, and coordination for Data Center, Mission-Critical Infrastructure, EPC, MEP, or large-scale building projects.

Experience in international projects and coordination with overseas clients and consultants will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and engineer ELV systems for Data Center and Mission-Critical Infrastructure projects.
- Work on Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), CCTV Surveillance, Access Control Systems (ACS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Public Address and Voice Alarm Systems (PA/VA), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and IP-based ELV solutions.
- Prepare ELV layouts, detailed engineering drawings, schematics, BOQs, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Review vendor drawings, equipment specifications, technical submittals, and material documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, procurement, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support design reviews, value engineering, technical query resolution, and timely delivery of engineering documents.




- Assist in resolving technical issues and incorporating design comments during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in ELV System Design and Engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of multiple ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and PA/VA systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ELV design drawings, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation.
- Experience in Data Center, Mission-Critical, EPC, MEP, commercial building, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Positive coordination and communication skills for working with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- International project exposure and familiarity with global design standards will be an advantage.

Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CDCP, CompTIA Network+, Lenel, Milestone, or equivalent certifications.

Job Location

Chembur, Mumbai – Candidates should be willing to work from the Mumbai office.
