Academic Counselor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Academic Counselor to guide students in making informed educational and career decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to understand student needs, and a passion for supporting learners in achieving their academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Counsel students on academic programs, career pathways, and course selection.
- Guide prospective students through the admission process, program details, and eligibility criteria.
- Address student queries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Assist in identifying students’ strengths, interests, and potential career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and counseling sessions.
- Work with faculty and placement teams to support student development and employability.




- Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and academic support programs.
- Track student progress and provide interventions when needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, student advisory, or career services.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle student concerns with patience, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of current educational trends, career opportunities, and skill development programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
