We're growing our presence across retail stores in Mumbai and are looking for someone who can ensure our products receive the visibility, attention, and care they deserve.

Role Description

We're looking for an energetic, proactive, and organised Retail Operations & Merchandising Executive to manage Hullo's presence across existing retail stores.

This is an on-field role focused on visiting retail outlets where Hullo products are already available, ensuring proper product placement, maintaining strong retailer relationships, coordinating in-store promotional activities, and monitoring product availability and performance.

This is not a traditional sales role focused on cold calling or acquiring new retailers. The primary responsibility is to strengthen our existing retail presence, improve in-store execution, and ensure our products are consistently visible, well-stocked, and presented correctly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Store Visits & Merchandising

- Visit assigned retail outlets regularly to monitor Hullo's product presence.
- Ensure products are displayed neatly, prominently, and according to brand guidelines.
- Check shelf placement, product visibility, pricing labels, and promotional displays.
- Identify opportunities to improve product positioning and visibility within stores.
- Ensure products are clean, undamaged, and displayed with appropriate branding.

2. Retailer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, and retail staff.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing retail partners.




- Address retailer concerns regarding product availability, deliveries, displays, and other operational issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve retailer queries and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Gather feedback from retailers and store staff about customer preferences and product performance.

3. Stock Monitoring & Replenishment

- Monitor product availability and stock levels at retail outlets.
- Identify low-stock, out-of-stock, slow-moving, and near-expiry products.
- Coordinate replenishment requirements with the internal sales and dispatch teams.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and adherence to FEFO (First Expiry, First Out).
- Track product movement and share updates on store-level performance.

4. In-Store Promotions & Brand Activities

- Coordinate and execute product sampling, tasting sessions, and other promotional activities at retail outlets.
- Ensure promotional materials, display stands, and point-of-sale branding are placed correctly.
- Work with the marketing team to execute in-store campaigns and product launches.
- Educate store staff about Hullo's products, ingredients, flavours, and key differentiators.
- Gather customer reactions and feedback during sampling activities.

5. Retail Audits & Reporting

- Take photographs of product displays and share regular store visit updates.
- Maintain records of store visits, stock availability, product placement, and retailer feedback.
- Monitor competitor product placement, pricing, promotions, and in-store visibility.
- Identify issues affecting product visibility or movement and recommend improvements.




- Prepare daily visit reports and coordinate follow-up actions with the team.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with retail store owners and managers.
- Robust organisational and follow-up skills.
- Basic understanding of retail merchandising, product placement, and store operations.
- Ability to identify and resolve on-ground operational issues.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Ability to travel regularly across assigned retail locations in Mumbai.
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership.

Experience & Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, field marketing, FMCG, or modern trade is preferred.
- Freshers with robust communication skills and an interest in retail operations are welcome to apply.
- Experience working with FMCG, food and beverage, D2C, or consumer brands is an advantage.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Mumbai's retail market and modern trade stores is an added advantage.
