Job Overview

VZEN Industries Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations and manage a team of accountants.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in general accounting, invoicing, billing, purchase entries, payments, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss preparation, along with the ability to supervise and guide a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team of accountants and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage sales invoicing, billing and purchase entries accurately.
- Monitor expense payments, vendor payments and accounting transactions.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle GST compliance, GST returns and reconciliation.
- Manage TDS compliance, deductions, payments and returns.
- Coordinate and support Income Tax-related accounting and compliance activities.
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and other financial statements.
- Perform ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor statutory compliance and maintain proper supporting documentation.
- Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance wherever required.
- Coordinate with management, auditors, consultants, banks and other stakeholders when required.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
- Maintain accurate,



organized and audit-ready accounting records.

Requirements

- B.Com or above in Commerce, Accounting or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong experience in team leadership and supervision.
- Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L; preparation.
- Experience in invoicing, billing, purchase entries, payments and ledger management.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Candidates with manufacturing/trading/industrial accounting experience will be preferred.
