Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Title Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join us. The ideal candidate should possess strong title search expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in title documentation. This role involves mentoring team members, defining processes, preparing documentation, reviewing reports, analysis and ensuring high-quality title search operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform and review complete title searches for residential and commercial properties.

· Provide subject matter expertise on title insurance processes, title examination, and search methodologies.

· Train, mentor, and coach new and existing team members on title search procedures and best practices.

· Develop, maintain, and update Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

· Ensure compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and turnaround times.

· Conduct quality reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.





· Assist in resolving complex title search and documentation issues.

· Support operational excellence through continuous process enhancement and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong domain knowledge in the Title Insurance industry.

· Hands-on experience performing end-to-end title searches.

· Experience in title documentation, including preparation and review of search-related documents.

· Ability to create and maintain Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and other operational documentation.

· Prior experience as a Team Lead, SME, Trainer, or Quality Analyst is preferred.

· Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

· 5+ years of experience in Title Search across all state/counties and Title Insurance operations.

· Support all products like Refinance, Purchase, COS, TOS, Full Search, Legal & Vesting and Updates

· Experience training teams and developing training content.

· Exposure to process documentation, workflow optimization, and quality management.
