Context Engineering Lead – React/Node.js & GitHub Copilot

Lead React and Node.js engineering delivery for a reusable customer authentication service. Establish practical context-engineering approaches for GitHub Copilot and other approved AI coding tools, enabling developers to implement, test, and document software effectively while maintaining engineering standards

The project delivers customer identity and registration, authentication and session management, credentials and MFA, fraud and identity verification, customer-facing journeys, and enterprise integrations. The role uses AI coding tools to support software delivery;

- Lead implementation across React customer journeys and Node.js services/APIs.

- Set team practices for supplying coding assistants with relevant repository, requirements, design, and test context.

- Coach developers on effective prompts and AI-supported prototyping (“vibe coding”), followed by code review, testing, and hardening.

- Use GitHub Copilot to support implementation, refactoring, test creation, debugging, and documentation.

- Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, accessibility, performance, and alignment with architecture and API contracts.





- Guide integration with AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, and approved enterprise services as assigned.

- Support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, production readiness, and hypercare.

- Reinforce approved security and privacy practices when using AI tools; do not submit credentials, customer data, or restricted information to unapproved tools.

- Strong hands-on React and Node.js development.

- API design and integration for customer-facing applications and services.

- Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI coding assistant; GitHub Copilot is preferred for this role.

- Ability to formulate effective prompts and provide practical codebase and requirements context.

- Strong code-review, debugging, and testing skills, including the ability to verify and improve AI-generated output.

- Experience guiding engineering practices or mentoring developers.

- AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, authentication, identity, or MFA integration.

- OIDC/SAML federation or enterprise integration experience.

- Experience applying AI coding tools to test generation, refactoring, debugging, and technical documentation.

10-12 years with 3-4 years of relevant experience

React, Node.js, GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, REST APIs, AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, OIDC/SAML.
